Tina Halbert is a teacher, wife and homeschooling mom who has 18 years of public school teaching experience. She currently owns and directs her own homeschool education and tutoring center, The Learning Place LLC. Her teaching background is in special needs: learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism, spina bifida, selective mutism, and vision impairments. She is also the parent of a special needs child, a 16 year-old daughter who was born with spina bifida. Recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, she has become an advocate of those with this disease. Tina lives in Montgomery, Alabama with her husband Chris and daughter Sarah.
